Are you planting trees for Arbor Day? The Dixie National Forest has been observing both Arbor Day and Earth Day this April, planting 98,633 ponderosa tree seedlings to restore disturbed areas across the Forest.
All services provided by the National Park Service, including the visitor center, Backcountry Information Center, and campground, as well as the Grand Canyon Association bookstore, will be available on May 15 at 8 am.
Throughout National Park Week, as we celebrate the ways in which our treasured outdoor spaces enrich our lives and uplift our spirits, the National Park Service will again offer free admission to America's National Parks so more people can explore our country's vast natural beauty.
